Data Mapping

The data model inherent in the OPC Data Access and Alarms/Events specifications is different from the related data models used in MacroView and the MetaServer protocol. Because of this a mapping of data between the data models is required. This section covers the approach used for the OPC DA mapping and the OPC AE mapping scenarios.
